1. Using confetti

Look at how fun this is! There’s nothing like popping a coloured confetti popper. You can either have two big confetti poppers for the parents to pop either blue or pink or have small-sized confetti poppers that you can hand out to each guest! 

2. Balloon pop

This gender reveal idea is pretty classic! What you can do is fill up a black balloon with blue or pink confetti and then fill it up with helium gas. Pop the balloon with a needle once your family and friends are gathered around. 

3. Balloons in a box

If you’re looking for an idea that doesn’t require so much work cleaning up after, this is one idea that’s perfect for you! Just fill up some coloured helium balloons in the box for some fun surprise. 

4. Surprise inside cake

This is always a fun surprise! Fill up the cake with coloured candies either blue or pink and have the cake cut open once you gather your family and friends around the cake. 

5. Water balloon fight

Love to watch a water balloon fight between the parents-to-be? This would be a fun and exciting way to reveal the baby’s gender. Simply fill up all the water balloons with normal water except one or two balloons with either blue or pink coloured water. The person who pops the coloured water balloon wins! Don’t forget, the parents-to-be need to wear white! 

6. Spray silly string 

Buy some silly string cans of either blue or pink, and wrap them up with a paper that says “Boy or Girl?” Let the party guests shoot the spray cans into the air or at the parents-to-be at the same time, revealing the baby’s gender! 

7. Smash pinatas

Smashing pinatas is a lot of fun no matter whether it’s a birthday party or a gender reveal party! Just fill up the pinata with blue or pink confetti or perhaps blue or pink candies and get the couple to hit the pinata, revealing the colour!

8. Gender reveal knock knock cake

The gender reveal smash cake or knock knock cake is typically filled with blue or pink coloured candies. Just like smashing a pinata, the couple will have to knock the dome/pinata cake using a small wooden hammer to reveal the gender of the baby. What a fun way to find out the baby’s gender!

9. Darts and balloons 

If you love games, this would be an excellent idea for a gender reveal party. All you have to do is get some black-coloured balloons and fill one up with either blue or pink paint or powder. Alternately, you can have blue or pink confetti in the balloon if you don’t want paint. Stick them up to a piece of white cloth and get the couple to shoot the darts to reveal the gender! 

10. Confetti pull down box

You can make your own DIY confetti pull-down box filled with blue or pink surprises like balloons and confetti. All you need is a big cardboard box, some balloons, confetti, and a string that you can attach to the bottom of the box. Get the couple to pull the string for an awesome gender reveal surprise!
