1. Lata Medang

Getting closer to nature is made possible with the existence of Lata Medang which is a breathtaking waterfall in Selangor. Visitors must go up a hill to reach the waterfall, but the hike is rather straightforward.
You can take pictures of the numerous unusual and distinct species of plants to be discovered along the journey. Lata Medang is an excellent place to unwind and recharge after a long day!

2. Gabai River

Travel all the way to northern Selangor to fulfil your wanderlust at Gabai River where it will all be worth it the moment you take a glimpse of this waterfall in Selangor. It has 12 floors, with 336 small stairs rising to the top level.
There are praying spaces, public restrooms and changing rooms; so you don’t have to be concerned about the facilities available. Be astonished at the breathtaking sight of the waterfall that humbles you!

3. Sungai Tekala Waterfall

Located 14km away from Semenyih Town, Sungai Tekala Waterfall is a waterfall in Selangor that is at the top of a recreational park. It is an ideal location for a family getaway because you can reach the waterfalls within 10 minutes of walking from the entrance. Be sure to plan your trip to avoid crowded situations which would usually happen on the weekends!

4. Sungai Pisang Waterfall

Another hidden gem of waterfall, Sungai Pisang Waterfall is a spectacular waterfall in Malaysia. The journey to the falls includes a number of beautiful river crossings where the water is cool and soothing.
Stand in awe at the beautiful sight of a wall of blue satin threaded with silver rocks as you visit this waterfall. It is advised to inform the local Forestry Department and your loved ones before making a plan to travel here for your own safety!

5. Serendah Waterfall

Serendah Waterfall would be the perfect choice for that as it is located further away from the major towns and it would be an ideal spot for a picnic or a family gathering too. Be sure to follow the basic etiquette of visiting this place and be respectful as it is situated near the orang asli villages!

6. Chiling Waterfalls

You can bring your significant other here for an adventurous and romantic date, as there is also the “Lovers Suspension Bridge” with a wonderful view of the waterfall from the bridge’s vantage point. It will require a lot of physical fitness to get to the waterfall, but it will be well worth it once you see the frothy cascade falling into a plunge pool!

7. Bukit Saga Waterfall

Hike up the mountain and take in the beautiful surroundings of lush forest and greenery. Some of the facilities available at the top of the mountain include a playground, an exercise corner, a hammock, a covered lounge and a changing room.

8. Commonwealth Forest Park Falls

Commonwealth Forest Park Falls is a big forest reserve that borders Kanching Recreational Forest and it has a beautiful waterfall at this park. All you need to do is spend as low as RM1.00 to enter the park and enjoy a wonderful picnic or camping in the areas provided at this park while staring at the waterfall that will be happily swishing over the rocks! Enjoy a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life at Commonwealth Forest Park Falls.

9. Kanching Rainforest Waterfall

The best waterfall in Selangor for an adventurous camping trip or holiday with your friends and family is Kanching Rainforest Waterfall in Selangor. There are over 7 tiers at this location, with the second and third tiers being popular among residents due to the natural power showers under the waterfall. If you’re carrying food, be aware that feeding the monkeys is not permitted!

10. Hutan Lipur Sungai Sendat Waterfall

Tucked away among the grand and tall tropical rainforest trees, Hutan Lipur Sungai Sendat Waterfall is another waterfall in Malaysia that must be on your bucket list. Some of the activities that you can do here are camping, picnics, BBQ parties, swimming and there are facilities such as a camp area and toilets provided. One thing to be careful of is to not go deep into the river as there have been reports of drowning in this area; so be careful if you decide to go for a swim.
